The Centre

Shoalhaven City Arts Centre is administered by Shoalhaven City Council. Established on the site of the former TAFE Building, the Arts Centre was purchased in 2002, refurbished in 2003 and officially opened 28 February 2004, by His Worship, The Mayor of Shoalhaven, Councillor Greg Watson.

The foundation plaque was jointly unveiled by Mayor Watson, Senator Rod Kemp (Federal Minister for the Arts) and Councillor John Anderson (Chairman of the Shoalhaven Arts Board and Assistant Deputy Mayor)

The Shoalhaven City Arts Centre was developed and refurbished by Shoalhaven City Council with funding support from NSW Ministry of the Arts and the Australian Government Regional Partnerships Program.
