Take Five Moods. Archie Zammitt Ross and Ian Scott

FOYER GALLERY

It is the result of listening to music, that one is able to reflect on how primal and instant the effect can be. Jazz creates mood in a big way and most probably you could say, affects all arts. The artists present drawings, paintings and sculpture inspired by jazz that runs deep.

Chaos & Order. Jim Birkett

ACCESS GALLERY

CHAOS, complete confusion, utter disorder and entirely random motion In Greek mythology CHOAS, is the primeval state of emptiness. In later Greek philosophy, CHAOS is a mass of muddled forms and elements separated out into the universe. In contrast, ORDER is a state in which everything is in its proper place, tidiness a state of peace and harmony. This exhibition of drawings explores concepts of Chaos and Order.

Fragments. TEAL Art Group

GREEN GALLERY

‘These fragments have I shored against my ruin,’ was appropriated by TS Eliot for The Wasteland. Eliot’s line is relevant to the TEAL group, whose art works become the fragments they leave behind at the end of their lives. The TEAL artists, Peter Nolan (photographer), Kerry Suttonberg (painter), Julie Maclauchlan (painter), Jenny Andres (painter) and Leon Gregory (photographer), have each interpreted the theme at an individual level.
