Paperwork
Works on paper from the Bundanon Trust Collection
MAIN GALLERY
The versatility of paper engenders a diversity of artistic responses, with inspiration often provided by the medium itself. The artists in this exhibition play and experiment with the physical properties of this ancient material. Some works in the exhibition refer to the traditional uses of paper, for carrying text and images or for origami, while others explore its sculptural properties.
This exhibition includes two and three dimensional works in paper by Ruark Lewis, Judy Barrass, Liz Coates and Geraldine Berkemeier Bundanon Trust Collection.

He says, ‘ I delight in those fleeting moments when the light is unexpectedly different – and I love the adventure of trying to place that light into another landscape context. I seek to make the everyday extraordinary.’

Maynard Waters
GREEN GALLERY
During his travels, Maynard Waters met many different characters in the many towns he visited. His mind stored pictures of the various facets of Australian life, which later appeared in his paintings of country towns and vignettes of city life.
For many years his skills have been brought to bear on subjects evocative of the ebb and flow of Australian life and the simple things: people, old men and women, children, dogs and horses, and all the flotsam and jetsam of the authentic characters who are to be found throughout this land.
