Bundanon Trust and Access Community Group’s Youth Pathways

MAIN GALLERY

Bundanon Trust, in partnership with Youth Pathways presents an exhibition of installations, drawings, paintings, photographs and written statements by young people from Shoalhaven high schools.

Over six months invited participants pursued their interest in the visual arts in the unique setting of Bundanon, the former home of iconic Australian artist Arthur Boyd. Over 80 young people gained new skills in the process of curating the artworks into an exhibition to share with family, friends and the community.

Bundanon Trust is an arts and education centre located on the Shoalhaven River. Youth Pathways is a Federally funded program through DEEWR which aims to support young people to make the transition through school and into further training, study or work.

Three artists respond artistically to the building, the volunteers, the tree and the second-hand clothes. These women have grown up in Nowra and started buying clothes at the op shop as teenagers.
