Meroogal Women’s Arts Prize 2007
Origins & Identity at Meroogal

Presented in association with the Historic Houses Trust,  The Meroogal Women’s Art Prize is a regional non –acquisitive competition and exhibition across the fields of visual arts, crafts and design.

This year’s theme has been specially chosen to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Meroogal Women’s Arts Prize by focusing on the shared experience of all women in shaping identity, and on the values and traits they have inherited and passed along to their own families. Women artists are invited to explore Meroogal and its history and then creatively respond to the theme.

Creative Moments
Shoalhaven Woodcraft Society, Nowra Spinners & Weavers, Shoalhaven Potters

Creative Moments is an annual exhibition in its 16th year and is a joint activity of the Shoalhaven Woodcraft Society, the Shoalhaven Spinners and Weavers, and the Nowra Potters. It is not a competitive enterprise but gives to local craftspeople  who are also members of those groups, the opportunity to exhibit their work to the community at large.

Under the heading “wood, wool, clay”, Creative Moments brings together three complementary media which enhance and enrich each other. Many exhibited items will be for sale.
