About Triple U FM
TRIPLE U FM is a community broadcaster with coverage to the City of Shoalhaven, New South Wales, South Coast, Australia. It is the only community broadcaster licensed to broadcast to all areas of the Shoalhaven – a massive 4550 square kilometres.
Triple U FM can be heard on FM 104.5MHz in the central Shoalhaven, FM 92.3MHz in the northern Shoalhaven and FM 99.7MHz in the southern Shoalhaven.
Triple U FM offers a diverse variety of programs, to cater for all listener tastes. Our news & weather content is sourced locally and from Macquarie National News. Our programs are for the most part, produced locally by the Shoalhaven community or by live broadcast out of Triple U FM's studios at South Nowra. Live broadcasts are presented by volunteers who are members of the association that operates Triple U FM.
Triple U FM also broadcasts syndicated programming from sources such as
the Community Radio Satellite Network (COMRADSAT),
BBC World Service,
Indigenous Radio Service (NIRS) and some other services.
Triple U FM has a fundamental program policy of encouraging the production and presentation of programs produced in the Shoalhaven with content relevant for the wider Shoalhaven community and the many thousands of short and long term visitors to the Shoalhaven's tourist destinations.
